Natalie is a neuroscientist, interested in the neural basis of how we control thoughts in our mind. Therefore, she studies working memory mechanisms in the human brain. Specifically, she focusses on interventions that might help to let go of negative, repetitive, ruminative thoughts. Natalie is part of the Motivational and Cognitive Control lab under the lead of Prof. Roshan Cools.

Next to her PhD, you can find her doing any kind of outdoor sports or enjoying the sun.
