Swantje obtained her Bachelors degree in Psychology and is currently in the process of completing her Masters degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at Radboud University Nijmegen. For this, she is doing a year-long internship for her master thesis in the Predictive Brain Lab. Her focus lies in understanding predictive processing during perceptual inference using fMRI and neural networks.
While spending a semester abroad in Scotland, Swantje discovered her passion for exploring a diverse range of subjects, including physics, philosophy, and biology. As well as reading and writing about the big questions by which we humans try to make sense of our world and our place in it.
In her free time, she enjoy being in nature (hiking, camping, photography), meeting with friends for her book club or watching documentaries.
